Einstein’s amazingly deep neuroscientific understanding of creativity, creating understanding and visual, process thinking (thought experiments) are shown by some of his quotes:

“My scientific work is motivated by an irresistible longing to understand the secrets of nature and by no other feeling.

“I want to understand the Mind of God.
.
“Since the mathematicians have invaded the theory of relativity, I do not understand it myself anymore. “

His methods of understanding were NOT verbal, logical nor mathematical, but Visualization of events & information processing by process thinking (Whitehead, as an important creator of same).

 “I have to understand you see.” —-Richard Feynman, Nobelist in Physics for QED.
His 1st wife said he was always doing his calculus, and it drove her crazy. IN fact he was testing, sorting, searching for his answers by T&Error means! She did not understand that. As all good scientists, do.
 .
He also stated, that “If I want to understand events, then I have to be able to generate those from principles.” Exactly what Einstein found.

Einstein, again, in confirmation of Feynman:
“The supreme task of the physicist is to arrive at those universal elementary laws from which the cosmos can be built up by pure deduction. There is no logical path to these laws; only intuition, resting on sympathetic understanding of experience, can reach them.
.
That was in short how Feynman created, The Magic of his “Feynman diagrams” which revolutionized the particle physics field. And it could summarize most particle processes by a simple set of diagrammatic, drawings, the visual rules (process thinking) taking a few minutes, instead of, which at the time, took & were solved by 2 Weeks of laborious calculations, Even after the advent of very efficient computer solutions, his diagrams are still used, they are so very efficient and time saving. It sorted out what was likely and not likely in a few minutes. Thus saving literally years of work for physicists. Short cut, efficiencies, LE, Indeed.

Least energy (LE) rules in a nutshell. That was Einstein’s rule: simplification is the goal in physics. Which Feynman did so well.

When asked if Bell’s supposition was correct, that QM was incomplete. He thought for a moment and said, “Yes. We cannot generate biology from QM .” IOW, complex systems.
.
And Einstein agreed: Einstein believed that quantum mechanics, though it may not be wrong, was at least incomplete.
.
“Through purely logical thinking we can attain no knowledge whatsoever of the empirical world.

“I never made one of my discoveries through the process of rational thinking.”

” Any fool can know. The point is to understand.” Exactly what generates the understanding.

Exactly Right you have to ADD information(!!!!) to solve problems. NP is NOT = to P!

Exactly. If you learn too much it can act to prevent more learning by at least 3 ways. 1, the physical amount of learning fills up the memory access units in the Hippocampi. Or as 1 very fine pediatrician told us more than one, “You want me to learn something new. I have ONLY so many pots on the shelf now. If I try to learn one more, then it knocks a “pot off the shelf” of something I need.

2. When playing the piano for the first time after years of only typing a keyboard, I played a number of tunes I knew, and recalled from my music books for about 45′. When I tried later that day to type on the keyboard, I could NOT!!! The act of typing Over-rode my my typing programs, and it was nearly 3 days, before I got back to the usual typing fluency again.  Am sure others have also experienced this “don’t add too many more pots to the shelf” memory problems, when we get in our 50’s or so. Why this occurs is yet a mystery.

3. Next, we can learn too much which is wrong, or even not complete, and then we cannot easily changed, due to brain hardwiring, and learn more. the facts as we believe them can inhibit finding out more ideas/concepts which often will extend our understanding and thus knowledge. We can know too much, and can’t learn much more!!!

If a written language, is so complicated, that it takes up huge amount of long term memory space, then the person can’t learn other languages very easily. It inhibits learning. Comparing instead to Western children learning to write & read at age 3-4. It takes about 5 years longer for Chinese children to learn reading/writing, usually in Chinese,starting about 8 years old. That is a huge educational disadvantage from not using alphabetic writing.

If however, an alphabetic method is used, many languages can be learned using those, instead. the visual/spatial problems of hieroglyphic and character writing are thus not efficient. The inefficiencies of many languages have been addressed before. But the fact that English does NOT use gender for any names/nouns other than those with biological basis, is a fact. Thus we don’t need all of those la, las, Le, Les, & Die’s and Ders, etc. Only “a”,” an”, “the” & “The(e)”. That is an enormous simplification allowing us to speak English, saving knowing all the genders for 100’s of K’s of words is it not? And likely the main reason English is learned a LOT, lot faster than languages with such ancient forms as genders. This is a clear cut observation & eminently provable and true, coming from the MOE being developed.

Deng Xiao Ping knew this about alphabets compared to characters writing, as did Mao, but Mao failed using brute force, and the strong traditions system persisted. Deng initiated & promoted the Pin Yin means of alphabetizing characters, which meant they could THEN use keyboards, which they could not before. AND the printing of all books and news became much, much easier and faster, because they did not need the 5,000 character forms which had to be hand inserted into the printing machines.. Such that now about 30% of new readers using Pin Yin in cannot use nor read the characters, any more. And printing is much, much faster. When they finally use ONLY pin yin, then the modernization and huge efficiency advantages of Western alphabets, will be theirs, at last. That will create much growth, too.

The same problem was known in ancient Egypt, where the huge number of pictorial hieroglyphics, impaired learning other languages, and created a sort of xenophobic, culturo-centric problem for the Ancient Khemetans. & they used a demotic form, which partly got around this.
.
IN addition the Ancient Maya used hieroglyphics methods to do the same, and they collapsed as well. Once it was gone, it could not be recreated by their illiterate descendants, either. Least energy most always, in the long run, wins!!! Alphabets are very much easy to remember and use, compared to 1000’s of glyphs.

Simplicity is the goal, stated Einstein and it’s a universal processor that EVEN applies to most all languages in how they are structured & used. That was his genius, partly and in short.
